As applied in our popular MaXXis Target archery sight line | SmoothWay Technology What is SmoothWayTM Technology? In a nutshell, this technology literally provides a “smooth way” for the fiber to transition from the outer housing to the tip of the pin. Gentle radiuses cradle the fiber as it transitions from the outside of the housing passing through the wall and onto the pin where it is met by more gentle radiuses and grooves. These grooves guide the fiber along the path to its termination point at the end of the pin. The gentle radiuses prevent sharp direction changes which frequently result in cracks, lost light, reduced life and dullness of the fiber optic material.
